Crafts: Clutter-Free Gifts

I spent another day of crafting, this time it was for my friend’s 40th birthday. She asked us if we were to give her a present she would like us to either help contribute to her trip to New York which she’s already saving for, to see her friend David Oyelowo (Selma) who’ll be playing in Othello, or to help her to dress like her fashion heroine and icon Iris Apfel.  But we must purchase a fabulous bead necklace from a charity shop.

Giving money might seem impersonal but it will give her the experience to go to New York and reuniting with her friend. Gifting something she physically wants is better than gifting with something she doesn’t want or won’t use. The fact she wanted the gift from a charity shop helps contribute to those who are in need. Well, I opted to buy her some wonderful bead necklaces from many charities…
